Weekly update: 21st February 2012

This week we decided to make some changes by considering the feedback we gained from the teachers and other students in the class. Although we had filmed various shots to put together as a rough cut, we came to conclusion that we would have to film again. This was due to the fact that our good ideas were mostly filmed out of focus. As we discussed the issue with our filming, we seized the opportunity to film again, making sure we had the best lighting and organisation during our production.

Weekly Update: 10th February 2012

This week we decided to separate the best shots from the various shots we produced when we filmed our teaser trailer. As a group we came together and decided what order we were going to put the shots in on final cut pro. We also decided what types of sound effects & transitions we will import into the piece. We used this week to generally put our ideas together to produce a Rough cut of our teaser trailer.

Weekly update: 30th January 2012

This week we chose to film again after we decided that the lighting in our first shooting could be much better and we also had one or two shots missing from our teaser trailer. We also discussed taking shots for our poster and movie magazine and  plan to take those within the week.
A character profile was posted on the blog about our main character and we also gave him a name (Richard).

The final 'guy'

For our teaser trailer we have chosen to make our final character male instead of following the popular convention of having a young, attractive female. This gives our trailer a twist and makes it slightly different from the norm, hopefully making it more memorable than the rest.

This is the fact file we have compiled for our main character:

• Occupation: Apprentice at a top publishing company.
• Ethnicity: Black British
• He enjoys alone time, reading horror fiction and socialising.
